Когда я решилась сделать новую татуировку, хотелось, чтобы она была не просто «красивой картинкой», а полноценным эстетическим акцентом, который бы дополнял моё ощущение себя. Мы с мастером долго обсуждали задумку, выбирали стилистику и цветовые решения. Я хотела, чтобы рисунок был нежным, но при этом имел свою «изюминку». I’ve wanted a minimalist tattoo for a very long time and finally decided to get one. One of my biggest worries was that a simple design might end up looking "too plain." But the artist completely dispelled my doubts: even in a modest design, they managed to capture my idea and give it a personal touch. Tattoo Aftercare Guide
DAY 0 — Tattoo Session
After completing the tattoo, I will:
- Clean the tattoo using a professional antibacterial soap.
- Treat the skin with a professional antiseptic.
- Apply a healing spray to soothe the skin.
- Cover the tattoo with a sterile medical healing film (Unistar, Suprasorb or other).
Each client also receives a Healing Pack, which includes:
- Healing cream
- Sterile isotonic saline solution
- A small sweet treat to help restore energy after the session
The protective film creates a sterile environment, protects the tattoo from bacteria, dirt, friction and mechanical damage, and significantly reduces the risk of infection.
For the first few hours, slight redness, warmth, swelling and mild bleeding under the film are completely normal.

During the first 5 hours
- Do not shower.
- Avoid touching or pressing on the tattoo.
- Avoid alcohol and strenuous physical activity.
- Drink enough water and eat normally.
DAYS 1–4 — Healing Under the Film
During this period, the tattoo continues healing beneath the protective film.
You may notice:
- plasma
- ink residue
- small air bubbles
- slight redness
- itching
Avoid
- Baths
- Swimming pools
- Sauna
- Steam rooms
- Open water
- Intense workouts
- Heavy sweating
- Tight clothing
- Friction
If the film starts peeling
If only a small edge lifts but the tattoo remains fully sealed, simply trim the loose edge with clean scissors if necessary.
If the film is damaged
If water, dirt or air gets underneath the film:
Do not attempt to tape the old film back down.
- remove it immediately;
- wash the tattoo with lukewarm water and mild soap;
- gently pat dry with a clean paper towel;
- continue healing without a new film, following the aftercare routine below.

Wash your hands thoroughly, remove the film slowly along the skin. Do not pull it off quickly.
After removal:
- wash the tattoo with mild fragrance-free soap;
- rinse with lukewarm water;
- gently pat dry with a clean towel or disposable paper towel;
- allow the skin to air dry for several minutes.
Apply a very thin layer of healing cream.
The skin should feel moisturized, not covered with a thick layer of cream.
Continue moisturizing 2–3 times daily until peeling, tightness and discomfort have completely disappeared.

DAYS 5–30 — Active Healing
The tattoo may begin:
- peeling
- flaking
- itching
Continue
- washing once or twice daily;
- moisturizing regularly;
- wearing loose clothing;
- protecting the tattoo from dirt and excessive friction.
Do not:
- scratch;
- peel flakes;
- remove scabs;
- shave the area;
- expose the tattoo to direct sunlight;
- visit saunas;
- swim in pools;
- swim in rivers, lakes or the sea;
- soak in baths;
- perform laser hair removal over the tattoo;
- receive cosmetic procedures directly on the tattooed area.
Even if the surface appears healed, the deeper layers of the skin are still recovering.
After Complete Healing
A tattoo continues changing for several months.
To preserve maximum clarity:
- use SPF 50+ whenever the tattoo is exposed to sunlight;
- keep the skin hydrated;
- avoid excessive tanning;
- avoid laser hair removal over tattooed skin, as it may damage or fade the pigment;
- inform dermatologists and cosmetologists that the area contains a tattoo before any laser or cosmetic procedure.
Proper long-term care helps preserve line sharpness, contrast and overall appearance for many years.
When to Contact Me
Please contact me immediately if you notice:
- increasing redness after several days;
- severe swelling;
- pus or unpleasant odor;
- fever;
- intense pain that continues to worsen;
- signs of an allergic reaction.
